Karos for indie hackers and solo builders
You are the whole team. Karos takes the posting off your list.
Karos reads what you are building and drafts the posts you keep meaning to write: X posts, Reddit replies, a page for your waitlist. You approve each one in a short daily review.

You are the brand
You build alone, or with one friend. You write the code, answer the support email and pay the bills, often next to a day job. Your first users come from the places you already spend time: X, a few subreddits, maker communities, a newsletter or two.
What works there is you. People follow a person who shows the work: what shipped, what broke, what you learned. Nobody follows a logo with a launch banner.
The hard part is doing it every day without it eating the build. Karos keeps the drafts coming from what you actually did, so posting stops starting from a blank box.
Where your buyers are
Where builders follow builders. Short posts about what you shipped, what broke and what you learned, in your own voice.
Posts by itself after you approve.
The subreddits where your users ask for help are the best place to be useful. Karos finds threads worth joining and drafts one reply for each.
Drafts you post yourself.
A page Karos hosts, with a sign-up form and tracked links, so a post has somewhere to send people before your own site is ready.

Left out, and why
- LinkedIn. Worth it if you sell to businesses. If your users are consumers or other makers, X and Reddit come first.
- Instagram. Good for products people show off. For most solo software, the conversation is on X and Reddit.
The goal to pick
Goal: More visibility
Before leads, you need people who know you exist. Visibility builds the audience your launch will need.
Karos proposes channels for your type of business and your goal. If you want only X and Reddit, say so: the channels you name become the plan, at the number of posts you set.
How the goal turns into a plan: How it works.
New campaignKaros Labs
A short film of the portal: the goal More leads is picked, one line about what it is for is typed, and Karos starts planning the campaign.
A sample week
Sample drafts for a made-up habit-tracking app built by one person. Made up to show the shape, not a customer's posts. Each one waits in your daily review, where you approve, edit or pass it.
Mon
XSingle post
SampleDay 41 of building this alone. Removed the streak counter. People were quitting after they broke a streak, not because of the habit. Trying a weekly target instead. Will report back.
Posts by itself after you approve.
Tue
RedditReply
SampleA thread in a productivity subreddit: “I keep giving up on habit apps after a week.”
Same here, and for me it was the streak. Once I missed a day the app felt like it was judging me. Two things helped: a weekly target instead of a daily one, and only three habits at a time. (I'm building a habit app, but this works in a paper notebook too.)
Drafts you post yourself.
Wed
XSingle post
SampleSmall thing nobody asked for: the app now works offline. Took two evenings. Felt like two weeks.
Posts by itself after you approve.
Thu
Landing pagesWaitlist page
SampleA waitlist page for the Android version: one line on what it does, three screens, an email field, and a tracked link for each post that sends people there.

Fri
XThread, 5 posts
SampleWhat six weeks of building in public taught me about my own app. A thread. 1/ The feature I was proudest of is the one nobody opens.
A thread comes to you ready to post.
What Karos does not do
- Karos never posts on Reddit. Every reply is a draft you post from your own account, and each community's rules stay yours to follow.
- X threads come to you ready to post. Single X posts go out by themselves after you approve them and give a one-time OK.
- Karos does not post on Hacker News, Indie Hackers or Product Hunt for you.
- On Starter, Karos drafts for your product's accounts. Your own profile beside the product's is on Pro.
- Paid ads are coming soon.
Questions
- Will my posts sound like a bot wrote them?
- Karos drafts from what you built and what you did this week, not from a blank prompt. You approve, edit or pass every draft, and when you pass you can say why. The feedback loop uses your reasons in the next drafts. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
- Can I keep it to X and Reddit?
- Yes. Name the channels you want and they become the plan. You can also switch a channel off in Settings at any time.
- Does Karos post on Reddit for me?
- No, never. Karos drafts the reply. You copy it, open Reddit and post it from your own account.
- Is $29 a month enough for one person?
- Starter is $29 a month with 10,000 credits, for one campaign at a time. You see an estimate before anything runs, campaign planning is free, and credits reset every month. You get a free preview before you pay.
