How Karos Works
How Karos Decides What to Post
At sign-up, Karos proposes two campaigns. From then on, every draft comes with two lines on top: the campaign it serves and why it exists. If a draft cannot say both, it should not be in front of you.
Those two lines are the end of a loop. It has seven steps, and it runs every day. Here they are in order.
1. It reads your business
You paste your website. Karos reads it, along with your public social accounts, your competitors' public pages and how ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude answer about you. Then it shows you what it found, before anything else happens.
It reads your business again every month, so a new product, page or competitor shows up in the next drafts. More on what it reads: Reads your business.
2. It finds what is original
This is the step most marketing skips. Karos looks for what you do that others in your market do not say. It reads your competitors for that reason: so your posts do not sound like theirs.
A post built on what only you do can only be yours. A post built on what everybody in your category says could be anyone's, and it gets read like it.
3. It plans by goal
You pick a goal: more leads, more visibility, a launch, or your own words. Karos plans a campaign around it, picks the channels that fit, and proposes how many pieces each channel gets a week. At sign-up it proposes two campaigns, in the order that serves your goal.
You can change anything before it starts. The weekly counts are an estimate, not a promise, and planning is free.
4. It drafts every day
Every day the drafts your campaigns need arrive in Today, your daily review, at the same time. Each one says which campaign it serves and why it is worth posting now. That is where the two lines come from. See Drafts every day.
5. You approve, edit or pass
Nothing goes out until you approve it. You tap Approve, change the words with Edit, or pass with Not this one. Every choice can be undone.
Then it depends on the channel. A single X post goes out by itself, after a one-time OK, with a short wait so you can take it back. A LinkedIn post waits for one tap on Post now. Reddit replies you always post yourself, from your own account. TikTok videos, X threads and newsletters come ready for you to post or send. The full list is on Approval and publishing.
6. The next drafts know why
When you pass, you can say what was off in one tap: wrong topic, not our voice, design is off, wrong fact, or a note in your own words. When you edit, Karos keeps the words you changed.
Those choices go into the next drafts for that channel. That is the feedback loop. It does not retrain a model, and it does not mix your choices with anyone else's. It is strongest on X, LinkedIn, Reddit and TikTok today.
7. It counts what came back
Results shows what the posts you approved brought back. Views and engagement on each post, on connected accounts. Requests from tracked links in your posts and from request forms on your site or on a landing page Karos hosts. You accept each request or mark it not a fit, and the accepted ones are what your campaigns are judged on.
It also counts how often ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude name you for the questions your buyers ask. That is AI-answer visibility. When they leave you out, Karos can suggest a campaign aimed at that question, and the loop starts again.
What it does not do yet
- Your requests and leads are counted, but the next drafts do not read them yet. The feedback loop runs on your choices.
- There is no CRM connection yet, so Karos counts requests and leads, not sales.
- Moving a campaign's weekly counts toward what works is coming soon. Today the counts stay as planned unless you change them.
- Paid ads are coming soon.
We would rather say that here than have you find it out later.
Why a loop and not a prompt
A prompt starts from nothing every time. A loop starts from everything it read about you, every goal you set and every choice you made. The tenth day of drafts knows more about you than the first.
If you build software, the SaaS founders and developer tools pages show what the loop does with a release. If you are on your own, start with indie hackers. Either way, the first step is the same: paste your site.
